The Bizzarrini Strada is truly a special car. This model was the 5300 GT Strada and was coming off the production line from 1965 - 68. The story behind Bizzarrini is unfortunately a short one. Cars from Bizzarrini were designed by Giotto Bizzarrini, the ex-Ferrari engineer. He left Ferrari because he believed that he could build a better car, so Bizzarrini SpA was born. The 5300 GT Strada was built off of the platform of the Iso Rivolta 300 and has a V8 Chevrolet small-block 327 Corvette engine forcing out up to 400 horsepower. There were only 133 cars built. This model was then succeeded by the Bizzarrini Europa. This car was unbelievable but sadly Bizzarrini began to slip under the radar. They have continued to produce models but they have lost their popularity majorly.

So much about this car just enthralls you. When you first see it you stop just to look at it because it actually looks rather odd at first glance, but under further inspection it proves to be an incredible work of art. This vehicle is so flat and low that it draws your attention along with the many other things included in this machine. The covered headlights work really well for this specific car. The two part grill is also pretty eye-catching. The rear of this car is just sublime. It contains elements of the rears of Ferrari’s from that time period which would make sense because Giotto used to work for them. There is something attractive about cars like this with their large open rear window and the sloping end of its cabin. The rear side air intakes give a cool addition as well. The interior matches the interesting exterior perfectly. The seats have a nice leather design to them and so do the doors. The steering wheel has a nice wooden finish and all the dials are neat and organized. The one thing that is different about this car in the interior is the center console, it’s completely covered in leather. When I first saw it I needed to look at it twice to make sure that that was what I was actually looking at. Overall this is honestly a special car.
